He completed his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from HBTI
Kanpur in 1996.
Maths Point started its journey in November 2006 with just one student preparing for Engg. Entrance Examinations. Initially only XII pass students were eligible for full year coaching , but this has changed now. Many student got selected in different engg. colleges with help from Maths Point, you can see the list here Results.
XII pass student now get coaching under BMJ Coaching Classes and Maths Point runs only TARGET IIT BATCHES for class XIth students.
ABOUT TARGET IIT BATCH :-
Maths Point started a new concept in Pithoragarh in March 2008 by starting first TARGET IIT BATCH with just five class XIIth students. The improvement in their mathematics is tremendous. They gained far more in comparision to class XII pass students. Encouraged by this , Maths Point started Target IIT Second Batch for class XIth in July 2008 for two year complete course in Mathematics. These guys are far.... ahead than their classmates , because they learn IIT JEE level mathematics , while their classmates learn NCERT level textbooks.You can learn more about TARGET IIT BATCHES in student section.
Engg. Selections in Pithoragarh(an eye opener):-
Selections in Engg. Entrance Exams in Pithoragarh are very few and rare. Consider this,
AIEEE :-
in 2007 only 4 freshers (class 12th), in 2008 only 5 freshers and in 2009 only 6 freshers are
in TOP 1000 , AIEEE State Ranks.
IITJEE :-
In last 10 years, only in 2008 , 1 fresher achived a rank in IITJEE.
Coaching in Kota etc:-
Many students from Pithoragarh go to Kota, Delhi, Haldwani, Lucknow for coaching but results of these students are not good either. Consider this , in 2009 not a single student , out of these many students selected in IITJEE. Nobody got a good rank in AIEEE , so not a single student in NIT's.
Only 2 - 3 students managed a seat in Pantnagar.
These Results are very poor to say the least. MATHS POINT wants to change this scenario , through TARGET IIT BATCHES. We are aiming for atleast 20 freshers in AIEEE Top 1000 state ranks and some selections in IITJEE. For this we need toppers in class Xth of every school in Pithoragarh to join TARGET IIT BATCHES and after two years preparation we should achieve our goal.
